무샤프 알-하디나(유모의 코란)는 지리드왕조의 통치자 아부-마나드 바디스 이븐 알-만수르(재위 996–1016년)의 유모가 카이라완의 대모스크에 기증하기 위해 제작된 것입니다. 이 코란은 북아프리카 특유의 쿠픽체로 쓰여졌으며 서체가 아름다울뿐 아니라 중세 왕실의 하녀가 의뢰한 작품이라는 것을 기록하는 두 가지 명문이 특히 중요한 부분입니다. 공주 또는 하녀의 신분을 불문하고 지리드 왕실과 관련된 여성 후원자는 드물지 않았습니다. 그들은 부와 신앙심을 나타내기 위해 코란 제작을 의뢰하였습니다. 본 필사본은 이 지역에서 여전히 사용되고 있는 동물 양피지에 쓰여졌지만 이집트, 이라크 및 이란에서는 오래 전부터 코란을 필사하는 데 종이를 일반적으로 사용하였습니다.
