雅克-路易·勒布朗夫人（本名弗朗索瓦兹·蓬塞尔，1788–1839年）

雅克-路易·勒布朗夫妇曾是法国公务员，效力于托斯卡纳女大公的宫廷；女大公名叫埃莉萨·巴西奥克希，娘家姓为波拿巴。拿破仑于1814 –15年被赶下台后，勒布朗夫妇留在了佛罗伦萨。安格尔于1820年从罗马抵达佛罗伦萨后与他们结识。这场交情的结果是，安格尔为这对夫妇各画了一幅肖像画，它们成为除了安格尔为皇室所作的肖像之外最大的，而且是唯一描绘一对夫妻的作品。埃德加·德加在1896年购入这两幅画，并认为这是他所藏大量安格尔作品中最精美的两幅。
