Costumes Parisiens 158: Robe à retroussis
Illustration with a design for a day dress, part of the 70th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on May 1st, 1914. The illustration features a woman wearing a a layered gown made up of blue fabric with pairs of thin, vertical, gray stripes and gray fabric, with a white blouse neck, paired with a cream hat with black and blue details and a rose, and matching cream and black boots. Her hands are covered by cream gloves, one of them holding a blue umbrella decorated with a small, blue bow and a pink rose. She walks on a park, and arches and trees can be devised far behind her.
