The History of St. Paul's Cathedral in London, From its Foundation until these Times
First edition. Folio, contemporary full calf binding, re-backed. Illustrated with 45 etchings, as published in 1658. This volume is the primary record of the appearance of Old St. Paul's which was gutted by the Great Fire of London of 1666. The cathedral was demolished by 1687 or 1688, then replaced by Sir Christopher Wren's classical church.
