Sixth plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, such as Esmeralda. This plate contains a design for an Italian female costume, made up of a white shirt with pleats around the neck, bordered with a thin, yellow ribbon, and with orange cuffs with thin yellow stripes, decorated with small pieces of orange, white and blue fabric, and a blue skirt with three golden horizontal stripes with a yellow over-skirt with a white border containing semi-abstract scrolling and fruit motifs of orange, yellow and blue colors, framed by thin, orange stripes. A piece of orange fabric falls behind her back, also adorning the skirt. Her hair is tied back with a scrolling braid, and is adorned with a white headscarf with a gold brooch. Her eyes are bade up with black and red eyeshadow, and her lips are colored with red. She wears three beaded necklaces around her neck: two are red, one golden, and large, hoop earrings. Her legs are covered by white stockings, and her feet by black low-heeled shoes with orange ribbons. She holds a small bundle of pink flowers on green stems with leaves on one hand.
