Pitcher
Rococo-style corn stalks adorn this maize pitcher, a typical example of the wares produced at Charles Cartlidge's New York Factory. Josiah Jones, one of Cartlidge's modelers, may have made this piece with molds he took from New York to his new factory in South Carolina. Another pitcher of almost identical design is 20.109.2.
