Dark Stripe

Caio Fonseca American
Publisher Paulson Press American
1998
Not on view
Employing a non-objective visual language, Caio Fonseca makes abstract art that is characterized by the dynamic juxtaposition of irregular lyric shapes and large areas of contrasting colors and tones. Undulating curvilinear lines and forms recall musical instruments and notes. Fonseca, a musician and artist, has sought to explore links between the two practices.
