Hinged box
Possibly a French pill box. Both covers have a single line engraved border and are filled with a semé of diamond motifs made up of four dots. The front cover has a central motif of a leafy sprig of flowers. The spine has five sets of engraved double-lined bands, and single lines at top and bottom.
