"Signed Margaret Armstrong binding design in pale shades of chartreuse, blue and yellow on smooth dark blue cloth of title surrounded by a series of petals and bluebells. The titles in pale yellow on the spine with bluebell motifs above and below. Includes a color frontispiece. Within the highlands of Scotland, Miss Anne is the Laird's daughter -- her beauty and wealth attract many suitors. But a lowly shepherd who met Anne when they were both children, works and studies to become worthy of her hand. A very good + copy with light rubbing to the extremities." -- Austin Abbey Rare Books.
