Cartouche with Two Griffons
Copy in reverse after a cartouche design by the artist Stefano della Bella, originally published as part of the series "Raccolta di Varii Cappriccii Et Nove Inventioni di Cartelle et Ornamenti", published during the artist's sojourn in Paris in 1646. This print appears to derive from an anonymous set of copies made in Rome, likely in the context of the De' Rossi publishing house.
