Ganesha Ritual Lamp

This work of art is currently on loan to the museum.Seated on a multitiered lotus pedestal, Ganesha holds an oil lamp, along with a battle axe and a noose indicating his role as a savior and protector. His elaborate pronged headdress is surmounted by a single cobra.
