Skating ensemble
Sanguine in winter and vivid in the snow and ice-filled landscape, a skating ensemble cuts a colorful figure for the season. Of a recreation possible in nature only in winter, the skater is a friendly and familiar Currier and Ives avatar of the season. The quilting joins together an inner and outer layer, here with batting sandwiched in between, for further warmth.
