Wall Elevation with a Fireplace for Hyde Park

1898 (?)
Not on view
Design for a wall elevation in neoclassical style with a fireplace at center and painting above, flanked by wall panels with colorful candelabra grotesques. To the right, part of a window bay is depicted and combined with a section detailing its construction. A slim blue and white frieze with griffins lines the top of the wall, and the arched transition to the ceiling is decorated with a frieze and octagonal medallions containing classical scenes in white on a red ground, surrounded by gilt vegetal tendrils.
