Returned to lender
This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender. This small Buddha with right hand raised in the teaching gesture (vitarkamudra) is one of a number of sheet-silver objects recovered from the Khin Ba stupa’s relic chamber at the ancient Pyu capital of Sri Ksetra.
