Cherub Suit
On loan to The Met
This work of art is currently on loan to the museum.Prince wore this baroque-inspired cherub-patterned suit in live performances throughout the early to mid 1990s, often when he performed with his Auerswald Model C guitar, on display nearby. The print and fabric was designed and produced by Helen David of English Eccentrics. The suit was designed by Prince and his in-house costume designer, Helen Hiatt.
