This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender.The model for this print, according to the inscription, was a painting by Wen Zhengming (1470–1559), a leading artist active in Suzhou. Printed from a worn eighteenth-century block, it shows broken lines and blurred contours.
