Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This page consists of twelve textile (?) designs with stylized flowers and scrolling branches with leaves. The first design is made up of alternating vertical stripes with zig-zagging edges, filled alternatingly with circles with checked patterns on black grounds and semi-abstract flowers on stippled gounds, over a background with thin, horizontal stripes, rendered alternatingly with black, white, and black intermittent lines. The second design is made up of vertical stripes filled with pairs of semi-abstract flowers and semi-abstract leaves, executed with white on a black ground. The third design is made up of versical strips of lozenges with flowers on stems with leaves, execited with clear hatches on black grounds, separated by vertical, zig-zagging stripes with thin, undulating garlands with stylized flowers and leaves, colored with black on a clear ground. The fourth design is made up of vertical, undulating branches with stylized flowers and leaves, executed with black and with offsetting hatched shadows on a clear ground, separated by black vertical stripes with thin, vertical, undulating stripes made with black hatches on clear grounds. The fifth design is made up of a semi-abstract honeycomb pattern made of interlacing branches with semi-abstract flowers and leaves, and with semi-abstract flowers on stems filling the empty spaces of the pattern, executed with black and white stripes, over a black ground. The sixth design is made up of a checked pattern of alternating black and striped, black-and-white checks, and vertical garlands of thin, interlacing branches with stylized leaves. The seventh design is made up of black scrolling leaves on a clear ground with black intermittent lines. The eighth design is made up of strips of stylized flowers, outlined with white on black circles with offsetting thorns, on a clear background with black and white shuttle shapes. The ninth design is made up of interlacing leaves rendered with black hatches on a clear ground, on a black background. The tenth design is made up of vertical black stripes, bordered with thin, white stripes with black hatches, decorated with small, abstract motifs executed with black and white, on a background with diagonal black and white stripes with semi-abstract flowers and leaves. The eleventh design consists of a checked pattern made up of vertical and horizontal white lines with thin, diagonal, black stripes, black checks with semi-abstract flowers, and two white checks with black, semi-abstract flowers. The twelfth design is made up of alternating vertical undulating branches with leaves and round fruits, and vertical garlands with stylized black cherries with two leaves, and offsetting branches, separated by thin, vertical stripes, all rendered with black hatches on clear grounds, on a black background. The designs are executed with black ink on thin, light brown paper, and were likely created to be used in printed textiles or wallpapers; the final designs would have likely been executed with lively colors.
