A view of the chapel from across Tottenham Court Road, showing the entrance facade and large building behind. Alms houses are represented to either side, all behind a fence, with pedestrians moving along infront, and horse drawn conveyances in the road. In framed vignettes at left and right of the image are: "Scriptural Motives to the Erection of the New Chapel" and "Scriptural Motives To the Erection of the New Alms Houses." Below, in a framed vignette are lines by Isaac Watts "On the Excellency of the Holy Scripture."
