The etching is based on a drawing by Paolo Farinati now at Windsor (inv. no. 5017). Ascribed by Bartsch and Albricci to Orazio Farinati, the print has been recently reattributed to Paolo by Giorgio Marini, following Oberhuber's and Dillon's opinions (Marini 2005, no. 203)
