Bound in an armorial binding with the coat of arms of Claude Barthelot, marquis de Rambuteau. The binding is covered in full red morocco, gold-tooled on both covers, spine and board edges. The coat of arms of Claude Barthelot, marquis de Rambuteau, is tooled in the center of the identical covers. The arms are surrounded with undulating floral designs, bordered by linear decorative motifs.
