Unnumbered plate with a fragment of a frieze depicting a seated figure holding up a shield at center and a second figure supporting the feet of a third. This image appears below plate 42, Remains of the Aqueduct of Nero and the Temple of Faunus, today St. Stephen the Round. These two images appear across from page 71, the first of two pages of text describing the aqueduct.
