The knees of a second kneeling figure are visible at left and the fragmented torso of a standing figure is at right. This image appears below plate 40, View of the remains of the Claudian Aqueducts (or Aqua Claudia). These two images appear across from page 69, the first of two pages of text describing the aqueducts of Rome.
