Pectoral in the shape of a horse
This small gold ornament, a type of decoration commonly found in steppe burials, once adorned the front of a nomadic individual’s robe. Archaeological discoveries in Central Asia suggest that the small holes on the horse’s body and eye may have held gemstone inlays.
