This small earthenware pitcher is part of a set; it is accompanied by a small saucer, 1984.255.4.The body of this pitcher bears a polychrome and gilt overglaze decoration of leaves and grasses. The decoration of the pitcher is superb and much higher in quality than most of the New England Pottery's production.
