Untitled
Untitled, a bold geometric painting of three cubes rendered on three separate canvases, tricks the eye. Here Loving puts the deceptive effects of color to excellent use, juxtaposing shades of blue, green, red, and yellow in ways that unsettle the cubes and keep their positions in space fluid. Untitled behaves dynamically as a result, with its painted shapes appearing to flip and fold, twist and tumble.
