Frieze with the artist's name lettered on a plaque at center, with a winged putto head below and two butterflies perched on strapwork above. Leaning on each side of the central plaque and facing inwards, two seated nude female figures with open books resting on their outer leg and holding branches that arch inwards. At either side, upwards scrolling tendrils that terminate in female heads. From a series of four plates.
