Returned to lender
This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender.A wrathful manifestation of Padmasambhava, a founding guru of Tibetan Buddhism, is visualized as an anthropomorphic dagger (phurba) used in exorcism rites to destroy dangerous forces.
