Broadway, New-York from Canal to Grand Street, West Side
A line of building facades stretches along the west side of Broadway, from Canal Street, at left/south, to Grand Street, at right/north. Ominbuses, carriages and delivery vehicles fill the street, moving in both directions, and there are pedestrians on a sidewalk in the foreground. The buildings are numbered 419 to 457, Howard Street breaks through the line of buildings right of center, and many signs are posted on the facades to advertise the businesses inside.
