B. Altman’s was a leading New York department store for 135 years, occupying an entire block on Fifth Avenue between Thirty-Third and Thirty-Fourth Streets. The company issued this holiday catalogue in November of 1917 to suggest gifts ranging from fur-trimmed winter coats to accessories and electrical gadgets.
