Wine Cooler or Vase on a Classical Pedestal
Decorative design containing a wine cooler or vase on top of a pedestal. The vase is decorated with a sphinx and the pedestal has an antique bas relief showing a masked putto offering fruit to another putto. Roses and other flowers are draped across the pedestal and two birds nests are placed on the outer ends of their stems. The style of the drawing is reminiscent of late 18th century drawing books.
