Studies of a Seated Nude Male Figure
Previously considered anonymous, this drawing was identified as by the Bolognese artists, based in Milan, Giulio Cesare Procaccini by an un named visitor to the museum (note on the mount). This attribution was confirmed by Giulio Bora (written communication, July 13, 2014). This is a leaf from the artist's sketchbook in which some of the original deckled borders of the blue paper are still intact.
