Silver statuette of a draped lady
This silver statuette of a female figure is portrayed with a high-girt chiton and heavily draped himation (mantle). While bronze statues were common, silver figures are rare and this work, which was originally gilded, demonstrates the virtuosity of Roman artisans and the variety of luxury materials used for small-scale devotional objects.
