Large in scale with its high base and elaborate hairdo, the statuette is a good example of a common Boeotian type of the Classical period.

Fabric: (figurine is too dirty to read fabric).
Slip, paint: white slip, red paint on chest.
Method of manufacture: moldmade, hollow; head also hollow, molded separately. Base in one mold with torso.
Back, venting: back handmade, flattened. Very large rectangular ("open door") vent from chest to base. - Dimensions: H. 13 11/16 in. (34.7 cm)
