Candelabrum perfume burner (one of a pair)
A candelabrum of this design sold in 1771 was described in the sale catalogue as "a large vase of radix amethysti and or moulu lined with silver and perforated for insence with four branches for candles, supported by two caryatids standing on an ornamented ebeny plinth."
