Dress
Marcelle Julien was an exclusive children's boutique, and the level of detail in this garment illustrates that exclusivity. The fine craftsmanship can be seen in the rickrack, overstitching and overall pintucking of the dress. The companion boy's ensemble, 2009.300.3368a, b, is equally charming, and it is garments such as these that emphasize the natural appeal of small children.
