Candlestick

Marked by B. M. American
1800–1900 (?)
On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 774
This candlestick is said to have come from the vicinity of Newburyport, Massachusetts. The quality and color of the silver, however, indicate the possibility of a South American origin.
